Albert Perry made copies of five letters (21 p.) he wrote to fellow Mormons in Holliston, Massachusetts describing the disturbances in Missouri in 1838. Two letters were probably sent to Rockwood's father-in-law John Haven, and one was sent to Newell Nourse. He also made copies of two sermons (34 p.) attributed to Joseph Smith, and a letter to the Church of Latter Day Saints in Quincy, Illinois from Joseph Smith, signed also by Hyrum Smith, Lyman Wight, Caleb Baldwin and Alexander McRae, dated Mar. 20, 1839. There is also a copy of a letter by Parley Parker Pratt to "Dear Sister."
